The purpose of the
Jeffco Open Space Foundation is to assist the Jefferson
County Open Space program in the protection, enhancement and enjoyment
of the natural resources and wildlife throughout Jefferson County.
As a 501(c) 3 tax exempt organization, the Foundation supports Open Space
goals and will

accept donations of
land
equipment
real property
historical artifacts
-
accept appreciated assets such
as stock certificates, etc.

originate
and administer fundraising programs
-
support educational, wildlife
and land protection programs
The
Jeffco Open Space Foundation is a citizen initiated organization that
recognizes the importance of preserving and interpreting land with scenic,
wildlife, natural, historical, educational and recreational value.

habitat enhancement and recreational facilities

County Schools’ use of the
programs, facilities and open lands provide the youth of the County an appreciation of their
natural heritage
